Have you ever wanted to be a good friend to someone who has experienced the death of a loved one, but not been sure what to say or do?
Would you like to be better equipped and more confident in the future?
Join us for “Bereavement awareness” with Care for the Family. You’ll come away with:

• a better knowledge of how bereavement affects people in different ways
• an understanding of the grieving process
• ideas for the practical and emotional support you can offer someone in the weeks and months after a funeral
• practical skills to carry out supportive listening, a key toll in bereavement support
• advice and tips on ways your church can support bereaved people in your community.

The Two Rivers Mission Community is offering this course for free, to ensure that no one is unable to attend due to cost, but would appreciate a donation on the day of £10 from those who can afford it.
Arrive from 10.30am. Tea and coffee provided. Please bring a packed lunch.
